I'm at petco looking at coral and I came across this and i dont know what it is exactly

Looks like Green Star Polyps to me.

The coral in the foreground looks like a Goniopora IMO. The one in the back are GSP.

That's my vote as well.

I might add - the GSP will grow like a weed and be difficult to get rid of once it starts spreading. The Goniopora, OTOH, is a difficult coral to keep alive for any amount of time, much less thrive.

I'd take a pass on both of them.

Goni's can be very rewarding visually. I'd give it a shot.
