Coral identification

Its not hammer or bubble, what is it? I was under the impression it was hammer but it doesn't have that infamous "hammer" shape.

Could be a small frogspawn as well. Tentacles don't look log enough to be a torch, but it could be because it's not extended ot what not.

Like the others said, probably some sort of euphyllia. Give it some distance since they are aggressive and very capable of killing other corals. They come in frogspawn/torch/hammer varieties, but care is the same.

I'm guessing frogspawn. Def not torch, I have one of the same color and there's no way its a small one.

people are calling a lot of different things frogspawns these days... generally if i see that the tips are round, i call it a torch. if there are multiple tips per tentacle then its a frogspawn. if there are single tips but they are oblong, then hammer.

but recently ive seen a lot of people selling "frogspawns" that just have one tip per tentacle. its a euphylia, treat it as such xD

Could it be a hammer? Mine kinda looks like that and is young. As it has been getting bigger, the tips have gotten more oblong. And I see a couple oblong tips on yours

If each tentacle is individual then it's torch but if many tentacles have multiple heads (not necessarily every tentacle) then it's a frogspawn. Torches don't always have long tentacles but they usually vary day to day from long to short.

It' diffiuclt to say from the picture. Euphyllia come in a number of varieties not just the usual 3( glabrescens/torch, ancora/ hammer or divisa/ frogspawn).

It could be a hammer coral, some very small hammer corals like the specimen in the picture sometimes they don't have the famous hammer shape at the end, looking at the picture a few times I think that it might actually still be a hammer because if you look at the tips of it some of them are oval shaped and they can form the hammers
