Check out the latest issue of CORAL Magazine. It has a nice article on Sustainable Aquatics and the good things they are doing. The article discusses with Matt and his father about how the business started and how it has grown. Glad to see them doing well and making the business a success.

Do you mean a bit misleading? It's perfectly objective whether an organism is raised in a square box in captivity or the ocean, but when we hear "tank raised" we tend to think "tank bred, tank raised," whereas these are "wild caught, tank raised."

Don't get me wrong, I think what they are doing is absolutely great, and certainly has less of an ecological impact than capturing adults or sub-adults. But the marketing is... well, marketing. It's hard to simplify complex processes into two words that sound attractive to consumers.
