Sounds like us regular people are being left out. Us regular people do have money also. Some of us don't want to pay for CMAS membership to get this kind of treatment. Sorry Jim, if you see this, I feel left out.

If I may ask- if the 15$ isn't worth it then why post in CMAS forum? 5 posts and 3 of them are complaing about sales from CMAS supporters--nice.

Hey man, I don't got that much money. I work hard, and pay bills and raising a family. I'm just considered lucky my Wife lets me get into this hobby. Just trying to save as much as I can. Why can't I complain about prices? Aren't we all trying to spend as less as we can in this hobby. To those out there that are loaded with money, that's cool, but dont pick on the less fortunate guys with a low paying job.

With that $15, you not only get 10% off at most LFS but monthly meetings w/lecturers from around the country. You get to meet/hang out with fellow reefers & trade with them. We got in free to the Shedd for a back stage view. We had a pizza party w/speaker on coral foods. We went to a screening of a IMAX show. What more can you ask for?!

Manitoba, Unfortunately, you failed to read where it says that CMAS watchers ALSO get the great sale items. NO, you don't have to be a CMAS member to get the sale prices.

On the other hand, if you are so worried about money, a CMAS membership costs $15 per year and saves you 10% every time you visit a CMAS sponsor you save 10%. If you (regular person) only spend $150 in a year, you've already paid for the membership.

Please stop posting for the sake of whining!

You contradict yourself here first you state "you have money also" then you state you don't have $15 for a membership...

Doesn't matter since the sale is for everyone anyways...Jim is a good guy!

A 1 year membership is only $15 ... it's worth it to network to learn new things and attend the frag swaps.

Head out to Coral Paradise as well, Jim's a great guy and has some great stuff for sale.
