How close to the top of the tank can corals be kept? I am specifically thinking about not the amount of light, but exposure to air during a water change. How long is too long, if it is ok at all? Depending on the coral?
If I have corals out of the water for more than a few minutes I always just wet them down so they don't dry although in nature many corals are high and dry for as long as a tide cycle.
