Has anyone had any experiances with the Coralife products espeacially skimmers but also their calc reactors etc. Are they good quality?

Thanks,
Andrew

yea im running the coralife 65 on my 46 gallon now...it was a hell of a thing to break in but once i got it to not overflow in ten minutes its been pulling some good skimmate out...cant wait to get a sump with a better skimmer though...best bet is to do it the best way first...save you more money in the long run!!!!

Essexboy: how long did it take to break in, and did you modify it in any way to stop the overflow problem? I have the 220 and am dealing with the same issues.

I have a 220 on my 55gal. and it is great and outperforms the skimmers I have had so far (Aqua C Remora, Amiracle Quad 1, Seaclone 150, Red sea Prizm w/surface skimmer) as for there lights i would stay away and go with orbit because they are built like tanks, I dropped mine in my tank (oops!) and it was still running while under the water. plus i would have to say the bulbs were better as well, My tank looked alot better with orbit
I HATE MY AQUALIGHT!!!!
thats why i am going to get a PFO pro w/ 2 175 mh and 2 vhos as for the orbit it is still working like a horse at a local pet store.

yea for the first two months i took off the air intake that it came with and put on one that i have from my maxi jet...this allowed me to restrict the air flow enough so it wouldnt overflow every ten mins....then one day i took it off and it was golden from that point on...the only problem i have with it now is that the water level has to be just right and once i add anything (calcium) and do water changes it acts up for the first day...
