Coralife Aqualight Pro PC dead (1 side only)

I just noticed 1/2 of my Coralife Aqualight Pro (72") light has both PC lights out (I just replaced them 2 weeks ago). Are these units such that if the front goes out the back will also (aka, a bad bulb) or would this be a bad ballast?

I find it hard to believe that 2 are bad and at the same time I didn't want to move the good side that is working to the bad side just in case it was something blowing out bulbs...

I answered my own question; somehow the bulds on the left side are both bad; what are the chances of that. Now I regret that I purchased them a while back to have a set on hand. Lessons learned.

Hi Kenargo,

Thanks for the post, sorry to hear about the trouble your having, normally it is best to switch the bulbs around to at least see if it is the ballast or the actual bulbs themselves.

It is usually best to keep a spare set handy just in case, most of our Powercompact bulbs do carry a 9 month prorated warranty against defects. I sent you PM regarding possible replacements.
