Wow... it's been a while since I have posted on here. Been very busy with work and family life, and the tank has just been humming along with very little work required other than regular maintenance.
I was just going through my thread to see when I installed my RODI system because I was planning my maintenance schedule. It has been slightly over 1 year, so I replaced my sediment and carbon block filters. My water production is fairly low because I haven't done water changes every week and have very evap from my tank. In fact, once fall hits through to spring, I only go through ~5 gallons of RODI every two weeks. In the summer I go through ~5 gallons a week because my cooling fans kick on a lot throughout the day, but in the fall through spring we keep the house in the mid 60's and the temp stays fairly consistent. I don't think I needed to replace any of these filters, but I guess preventative measures are better than waiting... plus the whole kit is only $60 from BRS.
My sump area of the tank gets a lot of weird growth, so I am going to do a fairly thorough cleaning of the sump area today, including pulling the pumps and cleaning those out too.
Anyway, just thought I'd share that the tank is still doing well and is still very low maintenance... just like I wanted. Still loving it and would also love to get a much larger tank, but no serious plans at the moment.
