Coraline algae

I have a bad case of coraline algae growing on the edges of my tank. Any way to take care of it?

If it's a glass tank, razor blade is the easiest.

it seems to be really thick....it is a glass tank.....ive even broken a few razor blades trying to remove it

They have a heavy duty one. I would suggest that one for you. Even if you have to resort to getting in there with a razor blade the first time...the Tunze will keep it nicely manicured going forward. I would definitely try it. It makes cleaning the glass by the sand bed a breeze.
