So basically my reef used to be covered with beautiful purple/pink/red coralline, and well over a few months it all died i guess, its been like it for a few months now, but i just never got around to asking. My CA stays around 400-420, i have tons of SPS and a nice corcea, all growing and doing fine for since before all the coralline died...

all i have is a bunch of white/tanish rocks and coral...

any ideas? Mg maybe?

yea, around the time i noticed the die off i switched from a crappy aquatraders 150W MH with their crap bulb to 2x24w T5 and a 150W phoenix on an ARO ballast, but wouldnt it have recovered by now? (this was almost a year ago when it basically all died)

You know the same thing happened to me! The only thing I have changed was I switched from limewater to the RFH two part recipe. You tell me!!!

basically what i derived from the link is, because the high light, its like starting a new tank, ill have to wait for the new high light coraline to be introduced into my tank and spread

thanks

Yea it will but with the glass half full it will probaly be better looking coraline and Mb even some cool pink and brown coraline mixed in, but i hope you get all pink coraline,a reefers dream. You will be very pleased.

If the lights have been already on for awile then leave but if its still new then start the accumulation. Reefers never stop learning.GL
