I was checkin' out this forum today and noticed customaquatic.com I decided to check the site out. They sale CoralVue T5 fixtures. Comes with individual reflectors, fans, both legs and hanging kit. The 48" 4 bulb fixture is only $229. I'm thinkin' about gettin' a glass cages a 45 long (48x12x17) and I think this light would work for me, since I like the finnex t5 on my 20 gal. Have any of you heard anything good or bad? The guy at customaquatic sent me a pic of the fixture. Its silver aluminum and looks pretty slick...which is another positive since I dont plan on usin' a canopy.

well, just read on the light some more and noticed it only has one power chord. Won't be able to use timers. They also have a aquamedic t5 light thats only around $40 more if you buy the mounting legs.

I'm not sure what brand you want or if they have what you are looking for but check out petmountain.com

They have a best price guarantee and number to call to get it. Thats who I ordered my 72" Outer Oribit from and they had the cheapest price and it was only 25 bucks to ship them. One of the atintic bulbs got broken in shipping and they sent a replacement in 5 days with no questions asked so they are legit.

They have 48" 4x54W Nova Extremes that are priced cheaper than Foster and Smiths that are on sale. $190+25 shipping.

Hope that helps.

I'm still thinkin'. I really hate I didn't go ahead and buy the 36" 6 bulb tek light that someone had at the swap. Was 6 months old and only wanted $250. I was just unsure of goin' with a 48" tank or a 36" tank. I have a 36x18 Oceanic stand, so I'm seriously thinkin' about goin' with a glasscages 50 gal now.

The GC 65G is a nice tank for the money too. Its 48" long so you might have to find another stand. Of course there is always a 90 tall. muhahaha

I know they probably arent what you are looking for but I have a pair of 36" dual 96W PC Aqualite fixtures I need to sell if anyone needs them. Dont know how old the bulbs are but they all work fine and have 2 cords and switches per fixture.

I'm kind of stuck on T5s. I had some montis in a 10 gal. under 65 watt PCs. Moved them to the 20 with 96 watt T5 and it brought the color out in them.
