Corkscrew Anemone Substrate

Hi I am looking for a bit of advice on which subtrate to use for a corkscrew Anemone ( Macrodactyla doreensis ).

I have done a bit of reading and all I can find is that they live in a sandy / muddy bottom on the reef but cant find anything about what people use in the aquarium?
I know that the sand has got to be really fine but not sure which one would be best.
Also as they live in a muddy / sandy bottom in the wild what do people think about mixing a fine sand with some miracle / mineral mud?

Ive got a load of sand left over from my old sand bed filter would this be ok? and what are the thoughts on mixing it with some mineral mud?
Ive only ever used Arogonite in my reefs so not used any other type of sands hence why im not sure whats ideal.
Hows your nem doing and how long have you had him?
Cheers
