could 1.020 salinity cause SPS to die

Over the past week my SPS have not been looking good. I think my tank-sitter must have topped off with RO water when my skimmer overflowed. I tested my water this morning and it was at 1.020. could this cause the tissue to die off?

if it's been a couple days or so it's best to bring it up slowly
