I had 3 but apparently they only live 5 years according to the net. I only have 1 now.

Yep, had one of those once. Now that was a challenge to get out of the tank

Mine were the size of a volleyball. The spine reached most of the way across a 75.
Totally stealth when the lights were out. Stabby stabby

mine was close to that size as well. Had it in a 92 corner bowfront.

I have had the black long spine ones for years and they never touched any coral. But I never had Acros. I have a belief that they eat
bryopsis algae, seem as long as I keep one I have never had bryopsis.
