Im very curious on his i had a big toadstool leater and about 2 weeks ago got blew of rock by mp40 and never seen again. when i pulled out rock it was in back corner and was the worst smell ever. Could that be wont spike my tank instead of silacone?

Yea that guy stuck thanks Gary. Now as forrock i hink im jst going to cycle it in a rubbemaid just to make sure before i kill it. Right cause that willgo away now that leathers gone those toxins wont stay on rock ?

I ordered new rock have 400 pounds coming in on friday cant wait all my fish hide behind the scribble kinda funny .Im sure they will apprecaite the new rock.

400# of rock.......that's a lot. Make sure to cycle it before relying on it for filtration.

I can't begin to guess what happened over there. I don't know if silicon or Sarcophyton or something else caused your problems but I'd research everything you plan on doing beforehand.

The silicone with the biocide in it is still a good bet for at least part of the problem. But as Gary noted a Sacrophyton in distress or rotting can tox a tank.
