Could you please tell how to sell my tank stuff?

Hello everyone,

I am really sad to quit this hobby, due to private circumstances.

I am new to marine aquariums, and don't know how or where to sell my 2 tanks and equipment? I live in Somerville, MA

I bought Red Sea Reefer 350 white (3 weeks ago) NOT USED AT ALL only installed (brand new) - for sale.

30 gallons Aquaeon tank (3 foot long) with glass top
55 lbs Walt Smith Reef Rock (purple) used for 4 months
MP10W quite drive used for 4 months (excellent condition)
Current Orbit marine led 36-48" fixture
Cobalt neotherm 150W heater
Aquaclear 70 filter
Redsea coral pro test kit (new)
other test kits and supplies

well, not in this section thats for sure. you don't have the time/meaningful posts to access the for sale section. Craigslist, or local reef club is the better idea probably.

Craigslist is probably the fastest route.. I get most of my stuff on there from people quitting the hobby

I'd have all receipts on hand to prove everything is brand new. Also stress BRAND NEW NEVER USED in your Craigslist advert.

Hopefully you can get much more than the typical 30%-50% of the retail price that is typical in a CL sale. Brand new is fairly rare and the RS tanks are popular, so I'd try to position it to get top dollar. Good luck.

I might post on local reef forums and talk to the store from where you bought it. They maybe kind enough to keep it back for minimum loss since it's brand new.
