my set up is a 180 LeeMar euro style flat polished tank... i have a 30G sump with a ASM G4 skimmer mesh mod done to it. i run a 18W UV filter along with a phosban 150 reactor, a 1/2hp chiller, i run lots of cheato i trim every 3-4 weeks in the sump with a reverse light, i have a MRC-CR2 calcium reactor but its barely keeping up so i just ordered the spray bar upgrade im thinkin of getting a larger reactor now.. i also use a JBJ auto top off with fresh RO/DI water dosed with Kalk... i have 3-phoenix 14K bulbs on PFO HQI ballast and PFO mini pendants thats it no actinics... i have about 40x's turnover in the tank via a sequence Dart pump on a closed loop and oceans motion 4 way then a seio 1500 and 820 at each corner my return pump is a Pan World 100px-x.. i change about 30G of water every 8 weeks change filter sock once a week, clean skimmer cup once a week, test every few days for alk and once a week for calcium... ive got a battery back up for the return pump cuz out in so cal area we have rolling blackouts and i have a generator for extended outages... ive got about 225lbs of LR and 180lbs LSi think utilizing the rocks filtration really helps i have the closed loop pull from behind the rocks so that way it sucks through the rock work really using the rock to its full extent i dont have any nusicance algae in the tank and i feed twice daily having 14 fish

gasman i keep this one down towards the bottom under lots of flow in that area seems to love it
jjb81speed "john" im glad u like and im sure ur tank will turn out just awesome too i see mine everyday so i dont think anything special of it lol its taken some time to grow these darn acros out but after some time u look back at some old pics and go wow its been worth it

ive had that anemone now for about 2.5 years and its been on that exact rock since i got it this tanks been up and running now like a year and a half and it was on that rock back in my old 100G tank and never moved even after the switch... the flow just misses it mostly so it stays prety stationary
that clam is a blue spotted squamosa about 14"+

Wow nice reef, you can add more corals, simply add more rocks on top.
