Couple of Frag Swap Questions

I think I might get to attend this weekend's frag swap and have a couple of questions.

1. Will there be plenty for sale for cash? I will be unable to bring any livestock to trade.

2. I live in Cape Girardeau but I have to spend Saturday night in St. Louis. Will corals purchased at the swap survive in bags overnight? Anything special I will need to do in order to keep them alive?

I would think that they would be ok, considering they go that long while being shipped. To be on the safe side, I would be sure to bring a cooler and several large bags of your own saltwater. You could transfer corals to your larger bags of water, or just have the water there in case of leaks or anything. Maybe bring some empty bags that you could fill with warm water at the hotel room and put down into the cooler with the bags of corals to help keep them warmer.

You could always bring a good sized cooler with your water, a little powerhead and a little heater and plug them in in the hotel room. Also a power inverter for the trip could be used too. But like mentioned if you ship them they go longer than that in a bag.

Bring a little 10 gal, couple 5 gal buckets of your own saltwater, heater, powerhead, little PC light fixture slapped up on top...voila'! :lol:

I will have plenty of sps for cash. They should be fine over night but doing something like shooter7 said isnt a bad idea. I have done it before.

also after you buy the frags dont let them sit in direct sun light on the drive home
