Couple of questions...

1. I found a bristle worm in my new tank (~ 2 1/2 weeks old) that's about half an inch long. Should I leave him in the tank or try to get rid of him?

2. There's something in the tank that looks like a snail, but without a shell. What is it and is it good or bad?

Thanks!

1) A very coomon sand shifter and there are probably hundreds in your tank right now. Almost all a beneficial and only a rare few species are a problem. The baddies are usually large.

2) More of a guess on my part but probably a Nudibranch of some sorts. Called sea slugs they are almost always harmless.

Thanks! I looked at that website and would have to guess Stomatella as well although the colors are a little different.

Well I guess the Stomella reproduce because they are all over my tank now. Is it ok to have quite a few in your tank?
