Couple of shots of my clownfish

Absolutely awesome! I am very very jealouse of all those great roses! I had about 20 or so at one time and sold off all but 3 of them to help fund more fish. I wish I had kept them.

That would be really cool I would just like to see the contrast!

Do you do anything to initiate a split? does it happen often? I have found that if I keep things the same in the tank mine rarely split but if I feed a different food or use a different salt they split.

Again very neat tank never seen anything like it!

P.S. our tang (woodstock hehe) is the boss of his tank as well not scared of anything, even seen him stung by the anemones a couple of times

Hi Lucas,

Sorry I missed this post somehow, must be the age thing...

To be honest, I don't do anything to "initiate" the reproduction. In fact, I stopped directly feeding about last year, if I remember correctly. It makes no sense trying to feed sixty or so anemones directly, you soon forget wich one you fed and which one you didn;t.:D
They still split like clock work, though. I see a new clone every other week or so, the reproduction rate scares me sometimes.
I noticed one thing since changing my lighting, though, they seem to reproduce even more now... I went from 250w MH to 150w DE bulbs.

PS. I couldn't find any pictures where anemones would be all retracted completely, but here's an actinic shot of the tank in March of last year.
