dailydriven911, Thanks for the kind words regarding the aquascaping. i cannot take any credit for that as I am hopelessly "aquascape challenged". My good friend Paul (prodman) has a gift for the art of aquascaping and he helped me build this design after I was struggling with just a chunk of rocks looking ghastly in the tank.
Dejavu, finally taking off is right. I feel like it is starting to fill in a bit. The right side of the tank needs some help as far as filling in but I have some slow growing stags and smaller, more recently acquired corals on that side. In another 6-8 months it should be filled in quite nicely.
Orochimaru, Thanks
bigian, You are a crack up...eyes like a hawk for those hidden chalices, lol. That is a rather large colony of an alien eye echinopora, green body, deeper green eyes, with a light purple leading rim. It got a little sunburned recently so I hid it in some shade so it can get the color back. I'll send you a piece if you want it

.
Fonda, The fish are so camera shy..a.ctually they were just cruising and somehow all managed to be int he rock work. I do need to get some fish that are out and about more like my other tank, where all the fish are always out front and center. Currently I have 2 Resplendent hybrid angelfish, 1 foxface, 1 mandarin dragonete, and a pair of clowns who always have a nest of eggs they are attending to in the back of the tank. At least now they picked a new nest site where I can see them really well

. I am thinking of adding a couple new fish...I saw one in Ming's display tank behind his desk at Atlantis last weekend and I need to call him and ask him what it is because I fell in love with it. It looks to be one of those wrasse types that will flit in and around the rocks...so not an out front and center fish, but I liked it.
BeachBum70, Thanks so much for the compliment.
Stacie, Things are going really good in this tank. I almost hate to say that as I don't want to jinx it, lol.
Dolby_1999, Tanks specs: Lee Mar custom 36" x 24" x18" tank (about 70g) with Eurobracing. Open top...look down style tank. I have a shorter custom oak stand so that one can stand at the tank and look down into it. When sitting on the couch in the living room you are looking straight into the front view. I live in a kind of small house so the lower height helps to not have the tank overwhelm the space. I run 2x250w DE Phoenix 14K bulbs in PFO mini pendents. This is soon to change to a Gieseman Spectra 24" pendent with a single 250w SE 12K Reeflux bulb and 4 T5's. I am most curious as to how the corals will respond and how the tank will react overall to less MH but additional supplementation with T5's. I think it will be a great change and the Geisman fixture should look really nice with this setup. I am exciteed about it. As far as setup under the hood...Sump made by LifeReef, Geo Calcium Reactor on a Pinpoint PH controller, Zeo Reactor, Deltec skimmer, Mag 9 return pump (I think), a single Vortech and 4 nanostreams for flow in the tank. I have two nanos completely hidden in the rock work to keep the bottom layer of the tank moving and two nanos on the right side of the tank with the return all shooting in different directions with the Vortech on the left side of the tank. All of this on controllers for random flow in the tank. I run an Aquacontroller for lights, heat, fans. That about sums it up. As far as pictures go...It is way to messy under the tank and I am too embarresed to take pictures of the mess, lol
