Very nice tank Alicia..so much colors on it!..
MIke, I got the newest RBS through an online vendor...Premium Aquatics I think. As far as dosing goes I am just doing hte basics and a few supplemets. I dose Start2, zeobak, Pohl's CV, Food, PIF, Occasionally Iron and K-Balance Strong. I have not dosed B-Balance or Spur for a long time, maybe 7-8 months. The Spur really only affected a couple of corals and the B-Balance was just a bit tricky in my tank and I didn't like the results so much. What are you dosing these days?

reeferpnoy, I love the colors in my tank...some are off the hook, others I know I can get more out of them. Thankfully they are all coming back this week...I had a little snafu with my lights, left the lights on via the controller after a water change for 13 1/2 hours per day :eek1:. I had no clue why some of my colonies were looking so pale and lightening. Finally on the weekend when I was home in the morning and the lights came on at 7:00 AM instead of 1:00 PM I knew exactly what I had done...see, there is that operator error issue, lol. Once I returned the lights to their normal cycle the colors on the lightened corals are really starting to come back. I still have a ways to go on a few pieces that were really affected but overall it is looking better in just a weeks time. What a dork

I am dosing basics,Vitalizer,PIF,Iron, AAHC,Snow , BB and Sponge power..almost all
I dose BB only half recomended dosage. As far as Spur goes , dont really like this product to be honest with you. Corals gets really pale. i prefer deep, rich coloration
You can try BB , improve coloration .. try with 2 ml per day...

Oh yea, I also dose the Aminos, I forgot . You know I am pretty happy with my colors so dosing the BB is just not neccessary at this point, my bottle is pretty old as well, I am not sure when I got it so that has me concerned as well. I don't know if it goes bad or what but it is well over a year old, maybe more like two years old. I know I can get some better colors out of some things but all in all I am pretty happy. It is tempting though .

It is tempting though .I am running 2x250w 14k Phoenix bulbs. I am planning on going to a SE MH/T5 combo with a Geiseman Spectra fixture. I want to run the Reeflux 12K SE bulb like I have on my other tank. I really like the look of it and the corals seem to like it as well. That should shake things up a bit .

Sara, I probably have a lot more SPS than LPS but I have always loved the different LPS , especially chalices. Thank so much for the compliment.

Dan, that is a good question, how many sps corals in that tank? I would have to guess about 35-40 different sps corals and 20 or so different LPS along the bottom and sides where the lighting is better for them. I have another tank that will house a lot of the LPS and some of the SPS in the future but right now it is an unhappy tank, something is amiss. I moved a bunch of stuff out of it and put those pieces back into this tank until I can get it back on track. Thanks for getting me off my butt and taking some full tank shots.
