As the subject states, im bored and trying out this somewhat new camera. Unfortunately it doesn't have a macro shot (I didn't buy it) but its decent enough for me...

I like the ugly candy canes, they are sweet. Yanno, not eveything has to be bright and vivid to be beautiful. Consider a tank of ugly things and imagine just how grand it would be.

Scolymia? I would have guessed Cynaria. It looks like my "Cat's Eye", or Cynaria except that mine is a pink translucent/neon green centered.
It certainly is a nice looking coral, I will confer that. I can't say that I've seen any that color floating around the LFS. To be honest, the one I bought may have been only the second or third I've ever seen at our LFS. Are they considered common? Perhaps our LFS just doesn't choose to stock them often.

Btw, that's a beautiful yellow leather in that full tank shot. It certainly looks like it's striving in there.
I haven't had much luck in finding yellow leathers that look healthy in the LFS. Do you remember where you got that peice?

Murph, I bought that about a year ago, not sure how common they are, but ive only seen a few at the lfs since.

The leather has done beautifully. When I bought it from the lfs it was barely open and really didn't look anything like it does now, once it got under the metal halide it really took off.

Everything in the tank came from the same place, The Salty Critter out of Sandusky, Ohio. Its only a 20 min ride from me but the guys there are awesome (my pimp for the day.)

My LFS always has the same color of coral every week.I wanted a different color Torch and they are always the same.Same thing goes with Zoo's. They all have brown skirts,and I wonder how your LFS gets Zoo's with these brilliant colors.

Nice corals though,I really like all of them.What kind of camera are you using?

its a Kodak EasyShare Z730. Its 5.0 MP buts thats about it, not really any bells and whistles to play with.
