its the only spot i can put it in without having any flow or without being blown away.

Mount it to a rock. Or a shell. Or something hard.

Does it have anything on it's foot currently ??
Try useing that to glue it to the rock, disc or shell not the flesh of the shroom as it will expand and contract during the night and day and wiggle loose

well the foot right now is connected to a small piece of rock that its stayed on since the day i got it but could i glue the sides to the rock?

Super glue. Many use it, but glue out of water, let set for about 45 seconds, and then insert back into tank.

that wont work than because i need to glue it to a main rock. can i just keep it on the sand bed? would it need more light?

I would say you'd need to have it alittle higher then the sandbed if you running PC's but I guess in the end it would be up to the shroom itself.
There is a putty that you can use under the water but I personally have never used it and the name escaped me at the moment.
You could super glue the little of rock the shroom is attached to to a larger removable peice of rock and try that.

Why not? Ever think of gluing the Rick to rock rubble, and expoxing the frag rock onto larger rock?

I often use SG to mount thing, and a 2-part reef epoxy for attaching frags to larger rocks....
