Cowfish- big eye?

Hi guys, I have a 5x2x2 tank with a cowfish which I have had for about 1 year. All was going well but I noticed he has had one or two fungus looking growths on his fins. It looks a little bit like white spot, but bigger and more translucent in colour. I have also noticed one of his eyes is looking inflamed and bigger than the other- any thoughts as to what this might be or any experience with other fish like this?

He still eats like a trooper and otherwise swims around looking for me constantly so not much changed there, just worried about something which is attacking him?

Post a picture if you can.

But what you describe as fungus sounds more like Lymphocystis. Cowfish are very prone to it. It is usually fairly harmless and will go away on its own with sufficiently good conditions.

Please find the picture of him, eye has gotten bigger since yesterday. Pretty worried about him now but he is eating well
