I've had a very small cow fish in quaritine for two weeks know and he was doing good. Swimming strong and eating well (fine peaces of shrimp socked in garlic). No treatment has be done at any point. Fish looked healthy till know.

The fish know looks like it has little effort to swim. It's alive but is getting blowed around alot and keeps getting stuck against a very small power head.

Water has been great throughout the process. Did a extra WC today just because.

Any advice would be great thx

Same thing happened to my cowfish. All was well for 2 weeks, during the third week he died.

Yah I think I'm going to loose him. He's isn't swimming at all know. He's just laying on the bottom over By a peace of LR not moving. I even put small peace of shrimp in front of him and he's not touching it or move to or from it :(

Sucks. First fish I have ever Quarintined and it's the first fish I've ever lost.

I really think he would have done better by just sticking him in my main tank. But then again the hole reason I started quarintineing is to protect the main tank. Know I'm really scared about trying to Quarintineing the Anthias I was about to buy.

I think these fish are very delicate as juveniles. I had a tiny one (longhorn cowfish) for several months. He also was doing well - ate everything and more doubled in size in just a few months. But, like others have reported, he died suddenly. I think they've got nutritional needs that are hard to meet when they're that small. The rigid structure of their bodies makes it difficult to gauge their body weight.

I really think they shouldn't collect the tiny ones.

Well lost the little guy last night. Not how I was hopping to start off with the hole Quarintine process.
