Got an order from reefcleaners and noticed something in the bottom of the bag. Its could sit on a pencil eraser its so small. I tried to save it for now, but wasnt sure what it was.

Absolutely not an emerald crab! The body is similar but the legs design is not even close.

I think it's what is commonly called a Caribbean swimmer crab, proper name Ocellate Swimmer Crab (not a blue swimmer crab). I find these when I drag a net through the grass flats near shore. The back legs have what look like flat paddles what help it swim better than other crabs. They can get kind of big and the are predators.

I got an email from reefcleaners, Said it looked like a shore crab and they are predators. Sounds like what Ron is describing. Thanks for the help.
