Crab or Shrimp in a Gigantea

Is there any crabs or shrimps that can live in a Gigantea? Given the amount of flow required for a gigantea, can anything hand onto it?

You should have no problem with a crab or shrimp in a gigantea. If the flow is causing problems for the crab or shrimp, it's probably to strong for the gigantea as well. They like a good amount of flow, but you don't want to beat them to death with it.

Hey, EC, do you think getting an ordinary Porcelain crab from Liveaquaria will get a crab suitable for a gigantea? Yours looks somewhat like the picture they show, but a lot of folks with such crabs have a very different look to them.

OK, that worked great. I bought one from liveaquaria.

I added it about 1" downcurrent from my target gigantea, and within an hour it had climbed into it. I don't see it most of the time, but often enough to know he is in it and it seems as if it is satisfied with the gigantea.

It is quite funny looking when it wades through the gigantea tentacles in the current. :)
