Crazy black fin fairy wrasse at nya

Its been up for overa week, havent seen one stateside before, but that price is more than what I would pay, but they are supposed to be quite hardy.

I'm thinking around $300 would be closer, if it wasn't for aggression it would be on the way to my house though. Really cool fish but I hear they're similar to the Scott's in temperament.

Are there no wrasse enthusiast who can reveal why this wrasse is special or worth the price?

It is uncommon at the depths it is collected at. It is collected in small numbers, usually around the same location were the last few shipments of pintail wrasses came from.

Don't think it's worthy the $500 price tag.
It wouldn't be to me, but that's just personal opinion/preference.

Looks like a evil Scott's fairy

True, but these have been collected in pretty decent numbers the last couple years (unlike the pintails).
However, this species typically doesn't make its way to the states because it usually usually sells for quite an affordable price in the Philippians.
