Crazy clown hugging my torch coral to death!

My new clown has decided that it wants to host the torch coral frag that is barley bigger then the clown, well the clown hugs the torch really hard like its trying to squish it down into the skeleton and to top that off it keeps sucking the tips of the tentactes and spitting them out like a baby does with a bottle continuously. I feel like my torch coral is gonna have ripped flesh and die if this continues or will my coral get used to it I just dont know what to do!

If the torch is little, the clown may well kill it with kindness. I recently adopted a friend's clown, she was hosting a leather and slowly killing it. Sometimes they're a little too enthusiastic, and there's no remedy AFAIK other than removing either the fish or the coral. You could try introducing a nem suited to the species of clown, but there's no guarantee it'll switch.

do you guys know why it sucks the tentacles and spits them out and blows water all over them??? I mean hell hang onto the tentacles with his mouth and let his body free float.

This is typical clown behavior. He is probably stimulating his own slime coat and acclimating himself to this coral so he smells like it.

Clowns do this when they first want to host something. Thats why its best to have a large anemone before you get a clown so it won't affect the anemone that much.
