Not all of the crazy LPS come into the LFS looking crazy. I have quite a few peices from the LFS that came in looking ok not crazy. Put them in your tank give them some TLC and you can end up with crazy LPS. you just have to look for the potential that the corals have.

The purple and green coral is some type of Chalice coral not sure on the exact species.

Lobophyllia taken in the lfs before I purchased it.

In my tank under actinics.

Prefer it under normal 14k halides i think.

I had a Symphyllia very similar to your Lobo, except more pastel. until a murdering clownfish damaged it.. <Sigh>

sorry bout the bad shot (and the fact that it's actinic). im not at home now, and this was the only pic i had stored on my comp. (taken about 1.5 months ago, its inflated much larger now, and colored up more)
