well my O's have been hosting different things since a year ago. at first it was the mag float, then they moved to the BTA, and now I just caught one of them in the elegance coral. But that can't be a good thing ,can it ? Meaning, can't the elegance sting the clown ? maybe I am just being over protective, but just concerned. along with laughing at him in the same process. I will get a Pic of ,it . when he starts again.:lmao:

The elegance is a stinging coral with similar stinging cells to an anemone. If the clown has built a tolerance to it then it should be fine to associate with the EC. It may however irritate the EC, I have heard they do not like being agitated much at all.

I put a magnifica in my tank and my clown fish have not left it since. Natural host clowns love most.

I have a pair of O's hosting in my tie dye wellso. No issues with the clowns and the wellso is still huge. I dont think wellso's sting but I know they are easily agitated

I had my picasso host my elegance coral for 6 months until some bad conditions befell my lps tank and I moved it to the BTA tank. It looked healthy with the clown in it but it did shrink up a bit. I found it hard to feed also because the clown would tear out the food. It was a beautiful combo though. I really would keep an eye on it because I cant tell for sure that it didnt take a nose dive months later do to me moving the tank across town or the clownfish. But here is a vid pardon the funny music lol.
