Crazy female maroon!

Hi All

I have (at least I think I do!) a pair of maroons. I have had them 6 weeks and all was well. Both getting along with each other and the other tank mates.

I added a BTA 2 days ago and the female went straight into it, no joke! As soon as the nem went in the tank, the female was in it! BUT, she has gone crazy! and almost possessed like. She will not let the male near it and absolutely bullies the other tank mates. Even though they are no where near the nem!

Is this normal? I would have thought that she would be calmer after the addition of the nem?

Tank is a 50G with

2 x B/G Chromis
1 x Banngai Cardinal
1 x Starry blenny (stands his ground against the female)
2 x Pacific cleaner shrimp (the shrimp do not get hassled).

Unfortunately that's kinda common. I once had a trio of saddle backs that got along great, as long as they didn't have an anemone to fight over. I wish I had an easy solution to the problem, but I don't. I had to separate my clowns from the anemone. Maybe, your clown will calm down with time, but typically clowns get more aggressive as they mature.
