We did not get much weather down in manchester, but looking at the tv it looks like the nashville and franklin crew got slammed. if you are ok i.e. no flooding, loss of power, or have not been swept into the ocean drop a post and let us know you are ok. if you need any help drop a line also.

Bart kind of you to check in with folks. I'm in Cane Ridge which is the fancy part of Antioch and we certainly have experienced our share of flooded roadways. For a time there was no way out of the subdivision but most places have started to recede. Ironically my sister and her family came in town to go to the Renaissance Festival and they always stay in Franklin. Hence, they are stuck in a hotel Hope everyone else is OK

lebanon has gotten its fair share of the rain. the square is completely flooded. i still have power. some of my family live in macon county they were evacuated because of flooding. hendersonville has evacuated some as well

I spent all morning evacuating people from flooded streets in hendersonville. Actually had to wade through flooded homes doing search and rescue with water up to my chest. We rescued about 70 people off southburn dr with 3 boats and 2 fire dept jet skis. Never in my life did I think I would be riding a jet ski down a street in hendersonville.

Oh and my house still doesnt have power soooo I hope I dont come home to a tank full of dead fish. but Im expecting the worse.

Rain, rain, go away.

Rain, rain, go away.

lol. Adrian, that's why I haven't given you a call yet. I figured I wouldn't be able to get there without swimming.

So, let's talk emergency plans...

What do you guys do to keep you tanks safe when the electricity goes out?

Hope everyone is safe...and DRY!

Sam

The boro is fairly dry here. the drainage pont of 3 acres is about 10 feet deep in places.

Not my back yard but close.

It's pretty high up this way too, but our neighborhood is safe. Just returned from the Cumberland River, it's gone up several feet in the last 5 hours. It's probably 3 feet from a major road in Clarksville. I suspect that they will have to shut down Riverside Drive in the next 24 hours.

My emergency plan = 2000Watt generator.

Old Hickory Lake is way up, flooding across alot of roads in MJ...I am safe..on top of a hill but have a big roof leak an some damage from it.

I have a 5200W genny I use if power goes out.

We are okay here in Dickson but some people weren't so lucky. Right down the road lots of peoples homes were under water. I have seen Yellow Creek pretty high but it was ridiculous this time. We went through Erin and I saw this boat. Funny thing is the bridge it is on goes over a very small creek.

All is good here in the Blackman area of the Boro. Sister is stranded with no power in Bellevue, but she is safe.

was out of town and had to drive down thru columbia and then up to get home, dry in my subdivision, my office at the hospital on the other hand......4 inches of standing water....early word is that I have 12 new paperweights that used to be computers

I live in Antioch, very close to blue hole rd. We've been without power for 2 days now. I am posting from cousins in Madison. My tank has a cheap little battery powered air pump in it right now and that's it. Temp has dropped to 74 from 78 and I am am really unsure what to do. I have two other tanks that are also there but have now air or movement in em ( a nano and 55 fresh). I'll be returning to Antioch early in the morning. Any suggestions or help are appreciated.

I live near by Camakazy. It wasn't easy coming home Saturday night, took me 2hrs and all kinds of directions to find a open road for me to get home. Hope everyone and their critters are safe from this disaster! I took off Sunday cause ain't no way I'm gonna get stuck again, wanna stay home with my babies to make sure all the tanks are working properly and my other critters are fed and taken care of. It was crazy seeing some of the mishaps from the flood.
