Creative Filter Floss placement (or replacement) - Modified Biocube 29

I've heavily modified my Biocube 29 as follows.

Aquafuge on left side of tank. Intake from Chamber 3, gentle flow back into main part of tank. Small bag of carbon in the return tray.

Hob-1 Skimmer - Intake in Chamber 1, Outflow into chamber 2

Phosban 150 - Pump in Chamber 2 with outflow into Chamber 3

Heater - Chamber 1

The problem is, I don't have enough room to keep the media basket in Chamber 2. I just won't fit with the HOB-1 return and the pump for the Phosban 150.

I'd still like to run filter floss because it tends to pick up a lot of junk from the tank but I just can't figure out where to put it.

Thoughts?

FYI - I could put it right before the return in the Aquafuge but the fuge is my Pod breeding area and I'm afraid of losing too many pods to the Floss.

Sounds like some neat mods you've got going there! When I had a BC I had a little egg crate thing I made that created a ledge about 2 inches in size, right at the water level on the right hand side of chamber 2 where the water from chamber 1 would pour over it. I put filter floss on this little ledge and it did a good job of catching stuff. Maybe something along those lines?
