got to love creativity in the hobby

A customer brought in a coralife 2 96wt pc fixture with a bad ballast and bulb they just wanted to buy a new light.

being the creative person I am I had no use for it but have a 12gal aquapod needing better lights. so I bought a http://www.marinedepot.com/ps_ViewItem~idProduct~PC1969.html
quad bulb and broke out the hack saw.
shortend the fixture to 19 inches and rewired it to one ballest
and it fits pretty nice over the 12
about 1.5 inch overhang on each side but lights up pretty well

I'd love it Manny but then I would have to get the money to buy it, sell the 12 and still have to get rid of a 20L and 29 I got laying around .... trying to downsize everything to save bucks..... just have 2 clowns and a rose in the 12

Buddy u can have it and we will figure it out later. The thing is in my garage and to sell a tank here u have to give it away.LOL

good idea andy

i ran the 96 watt quad on 20 reef for the past couple years and it works very very well
you could keep sps in there if you wanted.
