So i have been researching things to death and have bought some things and would like opinions on my planned purchase and how everything should work and if i need to add anything else . I appoligize if this seems silly or redundant , i value opinions here and wish this to be a successful tank .
tank is purchased 75 gallon with aquatic life t5 , i went with t5 as i found a decent second hand and wish to have a successful tank before i buy some expensive kessils
-40 gallon breder sump
-vertex 150 skimmer or aquamax co-2 skimmer have not decided
-purchased a panworld nh-50 px 590 gph for bean animal setup
-gfo reactor and pump to run it looking brs style gfo reactor
-maxspect gyre 150 for display tank flow
-filter socks for sump
-two 200 watt heater for in sump mounting
-smart ato system and reserve tank
-diy stand
-ro/di setup
-argonite sand medium grad 80 lbs and 90 100 lbs of rock

this is some of my planned equipment purchases and tank will start off as a FOWLR and add some corals later
equipment to add later
dosing setup
apex elite
biopellet reactor

This is my planned setup and any feedback or input would be appreciated wish to build this tank once and have a successful goal . there are other numerous small things such as salt , thermometers , refractometers , test kits and such but didnt think it was worth the time and looking for some peoples thoughts on what i have decided and if i should be changing anything

Thanks for my long reed any help would be great

Sounds like a great set up though just plan it and take your time think of having work space when making your stand for sure

Agreed, I have another thread going and built a frame for my stand and put my test sump in and not enough room. So planning a new stand with more room ! I like your idea of room to work ! I didn't think that far either

As you can tell I spend too much time online and here on reef central !

Where are you from is there any reef clubs its a definite life saver to actually meet people in the hobby see their tanks and they can help you out too

Reliable heater

Refractometer with reference/calibration solution

Quarantine tank set up

Start with a good magnetic cleaner

TDS meter for your RODI & a thermometer you can trust

I like to have more than 1 internal circulation pump. It looks like you're relying on only 2 pumps.

A net top or other method of keeping fish in the tank & off the floor

A comfortable chair in front of the tank. A watched tank is going to be a successful tank

Some good options I haven't fully considered especially the chair part ! The pump part I am assuming your talking about powerhead selection and more than just the gyre setup ?or would I be best to get rid of the gyre idea and go with two good power head setups ?

Right, internal powerheads. Ive never owned a Gyre so I can't comment on them. Modification seems to be needed if you keep dwarf cerith snails which I do. Perhaps you could use a conventional powerhead at a 90 degree angle from the Gyre. I use Vortech powerheads with a battery back up and like them.

Thanks haven't fully decided on the gyre or power heads too many decissions lol
