I think im done buying anything from there. I bought a bristletail filefish from critters about 9 months ago for $20. He destroyed every bit of aiptasia in my tank and knew his role. He then feasted on some acans i had once he ran out of snacks. I returned him to critters for free obviously since they never give any sort of credit. My tank has now sprouted some new aiptasia and i went to get another file fish. Now the same fish is $40! same size and everything. (small) So make a long story short. I bought a fish for $20, returned him for free. they sold it to someone else for $40, and sold me another for $40! Im bitter about this. lol. And yes, I went to petswarehouse and aquahut but they didnt have any filefish for the past 2 weeks. :/
Gimme a break.

Critters experience

Country critters has pretty terrible customer service imo. They are there for pretty much no other reason than to take (an unnecessary amount) $ out of your pocket. Seems from whatever happened involving the court case they are going through, has severely diminished the amount of corals and frags they have.

Thats exactly my point hoopz. We all know how expensive this hobby is. I wouldnt have a problem spending the money, but I shouldnt feel like i got bamboozled after walking out. I leave there with buyers remorse every time i even think of purchasing something.
They either have great showpieces that cost you your first born, or the same 10$ generic frags that even my fish would think are low budget.
i never leave petswarehouse unhappy. kevin and those dudes in copaigue are good at what they do.
