I noticed what looked like a small pyramid (SP?) snail on my Crocea this morning. I pulled him out along with the rock that he is attached to. So far I have pulled off more than 20 pyramid snails! They were all around the foot. Is there any fish that eats these that can help out? Anything else I should do?

Thanks!

dont depend on any fish to get rid of them, you have to do it.
remove the clam about one hour after lights out to a small bowl of tank water. brush the whole shell with a toothbrush. do this 3 times a week for a month then do it once a week for another month then keep checking it for a few more months

Thanks Mbbuna. I also have a Squamosa. It is attached to the glass bottom of my tank. I would assume that I need to check it also. I was thinking that I could take a razor blade and run it along the bottom glass to remove it. Sound ok?

Update... I removed the Squamosa with a razor and he came up real easy. After lights had been off for about an hour I pulled both clams. The Crocea had 1 tiny pyramid snail and the Squamosa had none. I placed the Squamosa on a small piece of tile to make it a little easier in the future. Thanks again Mbbuna for the help!
