Crocea vs goby

I have a 6" Crocea clam that is getting bombarded by a banded goby dumping sand on him throughout the day. As this is a new issue, I did not know if this was going to be a problem or not. Can the clam purge itself of the aragonite?

They can but I don't think they like to do it all day.

That could be bad as it could clog the gills up.

croceas like rocks anyways more than sand. plus they always want more light. i say move him up.

i agree, move it up, it will not hurt
