The female did in fact lay eggs last Friday on a flat rock located in a secluded area of my tank. By Saturday morning they where gone. I think they made a tasty meal for the shrimp in my tank Saturday night and Sunday morning while my lights where off.
The male is still acting strange, but the female seems to be back to normal.
Next time they spawn, I have promised the eggs to some people experienced in seeing the fish hatch and raising them.
