Crustacean causing Acro to slime

I have noticed a few frags are always in strings of slime. I saw one thing in common with these sliming frags, is a crustacean that has a turbine like shell, grew on the frag plug and secrete slime all over. The acro would grow over the shell sometimes, but you could see it has 2 tentacles and look kind of like a snail.

I took these out and trimmed the creature off, and what a difference, slime is gone and polyps are all out.

The slime didn't seem to hurt the acro though, because the frag has been like that for months and grew branches in other areas
