Cryptocentrus aurora (sexing of)

Hello,

A question for the experts, does anyone know how to determine the sex of this goby?

I have done an extensive search online, but seem to come up empty. Any info might help.

Thanks!
Chris

Cant change the thread title, but I do understand that the genus is now Amblyeleotris aurora, and have done the search on that name as well.

Smaller ones should be female, and if you get two small ones or a large one and a small one they should work it out. You may run into some bumps in the road, but that is what I would do if I was trying to pair them up. Also once they are a pair it should be fairly easy to tell the sexes, but sexing single fish... not possible as far as I know.

I haven't done it before, but that process works with most fish...

Thanks for the info. I wish there were a different number of spines in their fins or something like that...
