Well, I have had an explosion in growth and success in this little office tank and it was time for a change. So, I helped a fellow reefer stock their tank and am starting a new pico chapter. Not sure which direction I want to go in yet but it certainly will not include white lightening GSP in the new setup. It is way to fast growing for a small tank like this.

Thanks Dlandino! I just added a led 420nm light to help make things pop. I just counted, I have 14 different kinds of shrooms in there. I cant wait till they all explode in growth and really take over.

RJmurd - you got the last of my purple/teal mushrooms before my nano crashed and they all melted. Take care of them - I had them for over 10 years.

Thanks. I hadn't put them in my big tank because they grow so quickly. I'm not sure if I want them in my nano again, but I'll keep it in mind - they are very pretty. By the way, the Blue Avenger I got from you is very happy.

Update on my 7 gallon build. I fragged some of my colonies that were in DVTRAN's frag tank and put them back in. Hopefully they will color back up in the next few weeks. The one thing that is amazing with the small tanks is how little you need to fill it up.

Thanks. Some of this stuff won't be in the tank eventually. I am in the process of creating a list of things that must be in there. Focusing on variety of colors. Most likely gonna be zoas, acans, and some flower nems

Any info on your tank? I'm thinking about eventually doing another micro reef. I had a fluval spec v a while back and that went south after a uneducated pet store visit. What lighting do you use. Or any of you guys what lights are you running on your micro reefs? I could never find a good light localy available.

I have an 8 gallon Nuvo with the stock leds (I also have one of those cheap solar flare suction cup lights blue when I want) that do great. Right now it is home to 3 sexy shrimp, about 8lbs of live sand, few lbs live rock a torch and some xenia (soon to be moved or just gone). Have had no problems in the tank from day 1. Just keep up with the water changes. One thing that drives me crazy is it's white (I should have gotten the black) and I have alot of coraline, which normally I would like but its a pia to get off the front glass. Plus against the white the coraline still doesn't look that great so I scrape it off anyways. I would do a full tank shot but my phone takes horrible pics with the lights on the tank but here's one of my sexies

Anyone have a recommendation for a nice nano led (Blue/white or multi spec )that is approx the same size as the stock led? I really want to keep the look, no pendant or PAR bulb unless i have no chioce.. This will have Zoas and sexy shrimp only
