So I have a Cuban hogfish, he is very active and a total pig during feeding time. He gets along perfectly with all his tank mates, there is no aggression in the tank at all. With that all said, my cuban hogfish looks to be missing scales. He shows no signs of illness or unhappiness. He does however squeeze into crevasses in the live rock when the light go out. Do you think that is nocturnal behavior might be the reason some of his scales are coming off?
