Cube tanks

Hi have a 4x4x3 ft tank and have a Tunze wavebox will it be ok in on its own or will need an extension. Tanks Eric

I am getting a cube of 4X4X2 and was wondering the same thing. So I am tagging along. I hope someone has some info.

Someone here tried it on a 4*4*2 and it worked but it did require an extension.

Hi Roger thanks for that, will it make any difference being 3 foot deep compared to 2 foot deep. Eric

I am not sure, I would expect that the increased volume will result in a shorter wave but it should still work.

Thanks Reefer714 for the video, as your tank is 2 feet deep do you think it will move the water in mine ok as its 3 feet deep. Eric

Hi I have had 2 waveboxes in m 4x4x3 and they work great, i am getting loads of movement and about a 1 inch wave. The fish and softies like it, Thanks Steve for your video you have a stunning tank m8. Eric
