Looks like you got the basics covered. A lot of it is personal preference. I've had WAY better luck with a single serpent star instead of a batch of nass snails. I also like dwarf zebra hermits better than I like scarlets (smaller), but your selection is fine.

I'm a fan of emerald crabs as well, but they always starve to death in my tanks. I think they are better suited to bigger tanks.

The only other thing I'd think about is a fighting conch, assuming you are going with a sand bottom.

Thanks for the input. I've had no luck with serpents, they ate my crabs and snails...:(... Yea the emeralds I have had haven't done so well either and after ripping "Sarge" in half in Nate's take because he went on a coral eating rampage I tend to steer clear of them...lol..

so went out just now to look at the local selection of CUC on upper front street, have I said latly how shitty our LFS are? They want 4.99 for a nassarius snail smaller than my pinky nail and they couldnt even spell it right "narussius"? really come on. a red legged hermit that was almost microscopic 4.99 i mean i would pay that price if it was a decent size but come on the thing prolly wont even live cause it is so small. and for the life of me i can't figure out why no one sells astraea snail as astraea snails, why do they insist on calling them turbo snails they dont even resemble turbos in the least bit. sorry for the VENT...here I come ABC...lol

I know what you mean with the frustration and crappy pricing. I've gotten the Pacific Red Legged hermits, and I think they are what I've had the best luck with. I do like the scarlets, but they don't really eat much macro. I love nassarius, both the smaller ones and the Tongan large ones. I have 3 of each in my 54gal and they've lasted for over a year and a half. I have a striped setpent star which has also been a nice addition and lasted quite a while. I like the Cerith snails too. I had a few come into my tank on some LR, and they ended up multiplying! I ended up with at least 50 or so. I've had my ups and downs with Emralds. Definitely do NOT get a Sally Lightfoot if you plan on keeping a clam. I lost a beautiful baby Maixma to the lightfoot.
