CUNAcoral ID

Hi,

Some friends and I have some corals coming in from CUNAreefer and I thought I'd get some opinions as to what this coral is:

I think this coral is interesting for its growth form (although the colors are certainly nice too!) After trolling around the corals of the world website, I've guessed this:

Any ideas?

I think Cuna would be the best one to answer this, but If I had to guess I would say it looks like Acropora plana.

Hi Frick! Last thing I heard, he was responding to a few dozen PMs so I didn't want to bother him on interesting trivia; I think he doesn't know the name anyway.

There is a part of the coral that looks like a flat, wide branch - the segment of the left/top branch in between the tip and the base of the coral. The flat branch bit has me puzzled; but I'm probably easily puzzled since I'm new to the SPS ID forum and all the fun research on COTW. Anyhow, there's not a lot of corals with flat branches like that, are there? (I could be waaaay off)

There are quite a few table Acropora that can grow branches like that. A. plana is one of about 75 species.

Look what I found. It's the 14th coral down. Cuna's Acropora plana.
