Wow....great growth and colour.

I love that shades of fall and pc superman.......I got a frag going of the pc superman and the colour is awesome. I also have a decent little colony of the shades of fall but mine doesnt look as nice.....I think mine needs more light.

Amazing :eek1:

Sorry if I missed this but what lights are you using and how long do you run them for

Robbie

Thanks, Laddy! Thanks to everyone for the kind comments! I am still topping off with Kalk. All of my top off water goes through my kalk stirrer. My Ph has be dropping to 7.9 at night. During the day, my Ph will rise to 8.13. My bare bottom is starting to turn into a nice sheet of coralline algae. Pretty cool looking  Warmest Regards, James

you've shown that you could run a system aseptically, without the use of LR/sand... the zeovit stones are enough for bacterial growth. There are all kinds of coral pathogens that you can get from the LR and sand or from purchases from LFS.

Awesome!.

It looks like the last lot of photos was taken with a different bulb combo than previously?.

Thanks, Moser! Those were taken with the same bulbs. I think I may have played with the shutter speed a bit to let more light in.

The Red Dragon really is taking off! Would you say that your $500 efflo is a slow grower? Great Tank!
Thank you socaldude! The Red Dragon is growing very quickly. The purple stag and the RD are competing for space. I would say the $500 efflo has been a slow grower for me. If I took a top down pic, you would see much more growth.

Thanks Spectre. I agree. You can have a thriving coral population without the use of Live Rock or Sand.

Corals still look absolutely stunning. What is your current zeo schedule?

Also, do you run any fish in this tank, or is it strictly corals? Either way, you are doing something right so keep it up.

Boy I love your tank.

I want my tank to be just like that when I grow up!!!!

There is really nothing to distract from the beauty of the acropora and other sps in your tank, perfect in my book.

The coloration with the use of zeovite is very attractive.

Thanks, Calvin. I do have a couple fish in the tank. File fish, Melanarus Wrasse, 1 blue Chromis, Yellow Tang, and a pygmy angel. As for my ZEO dosing:

6ml Pohls Extra twice a week
6 drops Zeobac twice a week
1.1ml ZeoStart on a timer to dose throughout the day
Replace 375ml of the stones every six weeks.

I keep my Alk around 7.0, Potassium at 400, and Calcium around 420. Weekly water changes are performed. Change my T5 bulbs every 6 months.

Thanks SMTank! The ZEO has worked very well for me. I love the coloration that I am able to produce.

Thanks for the info James. Your success and dedication to a well thought out plan gives us all something to aspire to. Keep the updates coming. I know I enjoy seeing them.
