ok i see alot of reefers are also photogs what do you use to take your coral pics or pics in general of your tank? what camera and lense ?
Roger

I use a Sigma 90mm on a Nikon D200. I notice you have bowfronts for some of your tanks. The curved glass can make it tough to get sharp pics.

I used to use my Sigma EX 105mm f/2.8 with a Rebel Xti. I bought a top-down box to take inside the tank pics. The Rebel is now dead. I am going to be getting a Canon 7D tomorrow. I am looking forward to seeing the results.

Now I'm using Canon 100mm 2.8L IS on 1D III but been using canon 100mm 2.8 non-L
on both Canon 40D and 5D II for past yr n half. I also had 46 bow front which was very challenging to
take pic of it since if you are not shooting perpendicular to glass, there will be fair
degrees of distortion that I would think its good picture so I usually used to shoot from side.

I don't do my tank much, as you see, I have a corner with a bowfront. You can look in the wildflowers thread as most of the ones I took there are with the sigma. Here's one of a coral in my tank.

For my aquarium shots I use my nikon d80 and an old 55 f2.8 ais micro. Not a bad lens, I paid $50 and it's older than me but it does the trick!
